Duff Peddycoart
Self employed, Duff Peddycoart declares himself employed as a serious ice fisherman during the winter months. He travels the Ice Belt chasing rumors of potentially good waters, and takes it upon himself to figure out where the fish are and what it takes to catch them.
Through the years, Duff has become something of a crappie specialist. Even when others around him are settled over a good bite for other species, Peddycoart can be found wandering other areas, on the suspicion that crappies can be found and caught. He has become an expert on crappie tendencies, and often says they might be located anywhere from right under the ice, to suspended, to tight on the bottom.
This is not to say that crappies are his only target. Duff also has experience catching numerous other species through the ice. He is a valuable part of the Ice Team pro staff.

It also helps explain why plastics are coming on so strong in ice fishing.
